Permit Application Management: Prepare, submit, and track permit applications, ensuring
compliance with local regulations. Work closely with city, county, and state agencies to
facilitate approvals.
b. Code Compliance & Documentation: Review blueprints and plans for adherence to codes
and zoning laws. Maintain organized records of all applications, approvals, and inspections.
c. Liaison with Authorities: Serve as the main point of contact with building departments,
zoning boards, and inspectors, addressing inquiries and resolving issues as needed.
d. Project Coordination: Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to secure
necessary permits before construction begins. Keep teams informed of permit status and
potential delays.
e. Permit Tracking & Reporting: Monitor application progress, follow up on pending
approvals, and document corrections or rejections.
f. Document Delivery; Handle in-person submissions, pickups, and retrieval of permits and
signed approvals.
g. Scheduling Support: Assist in adjusting project timelines based on permit approvals and
coordinate required inspections to prevent delays.
h. Problem Resolution: Identify and troubleshoot permitting and zoning issues, working with the appropriate authorities to keep projects moving forward.
