Junior Account Manager
We are searching for outgoing, self-motivated and communicative candidates who are passionate about branding and merchandise. The junior account manager will report to and work with the Senior Account Manager to ensure that all client needs are met and exceeded.
They will assist on various projects and eventually take on projects of their own. They will troubleshoot customer issues and, with the help of all departments, find a solution quickly and with a positive attitude. Above all they will nurture a positive relationship with every client to ensure customer satisfaction and future business. To succeed in this position, candidates should have exceptional written and verbal communication skills, problem solving skills and should be resourceful, adaptable and organized with the ability to consistently exceed clients’ needs and build rapport.
RESPONSIBILITIES/EXPECTATIONS
1. Communicate with clients to highlight featured products, understand their needs and explain product value.
2. Complete tasks assigned to you in a timely manner.
3. Clearly explain any foreseeable production challenges to the client at the start of the sales process to ensure that customer expectations have been properly managed.
4. Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and build relationships with new clients to expand our reach in this industry.
5. Collaborate with graphic designers and internal departments to facilitate product fulfillment and convey brand requirements.
6. Collect, maintain and analyze customer data to learn more about customer behavior as it relates to client branding and merchandising.
7. Keep accurate records and notes on company data including contacts, addresses and inventories when needed.
8. Resolve complaints and quality control issues internally and externally by improving processes and ensuring that the client is satisfied.
9. Identify and advise on trends as they relate to clients you manage.
10. Serve as a client advocate with vendors, designers and suppliers.
11. Help develop strategies to continue to grow this sector of the business.
EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS
1. 2 years experience in some kind of customer-facing position is required.
2. A working knowledge of the garment and/or merch industry is preferred but not required.
3. An associates or undergraduate degree is preferred but not required.
4. Sales experience is preferred but not required.
5. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
6. Must be comfortable working as part of a team.
7. Ability to collect, track, and analyze data.
8. Adaptability and strong problem solving skills.
9. Excellent active listening skills.
10. Ability to build rapport and collaborate with others within the company and externally.
11. Understanding of consumer behaviors and industry trends.
12. Willingness to actively develop extensive product knowledge.
13. Some use of your private vehicle may be required for client meetings, occasional work-related errands, etc
Pay: $35,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
