Essential qualifications:

Masters degree in Social Work or related field.

New Jersey state licensure LSW, LAC, LPC, LCSW preferred.

Experience working with and counseling adolescents.

Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.

Demonstrated ability to work harmoniously in a multicultural, diverse community.
Essential functions of position:
-
Plan and participate in assemblies, presentations and other special programs for students on issues pertaining to mental health, physical health and positive youth development.

Provide counseling and/or crisis intervention to program participants ages 13-19 in individual and group sessions.

Provide referrals to community resources in the area of health, mental health, and substance abuse treatment as indicated.

Qualified candidates must have a commitment to multicultural education and demonstrate an ability to work harmoniously with diverse populations.
