Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, serving guests, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere in our establishment. You will play a vital role in enhancing the overall dining experience for our patrons.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring all supplies are stocked and readily available.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and responding to inquiries or concerns.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using a cash register and ensure proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food and beverages.
- Stay informed about new drink recipes, trends in the beverage industry, and local craft brews.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including responsible alcohol service practices.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or bartending preferred; experience in a restaurant setting is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of cocktail preparation and beverage presentation.
- Proficient in retail math skills for accurate cash handling and inventory management.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests and team members alike.
- Must be at least 21 years of age as per legal requirements for serving alcohol.
- A friendly demeanor with a passion for helping others enjoy their dining experience.
