Job Summary
The Dump Truck Driver is responsible for safely operating company-owned dump trucks to transport construction materials, equipment, and supplies to and from project sites. This position plays a critical role in supporting daily construction operations while maintaining compliance with all DOT regulations and company safety standards.
Essential Responsibilities

Safely operate a Class B CDL dump truck on public roads and construction sites.

Transport aggregates, asphalt, soil, stone, and other construction materials.

Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.

Complete driver logs, inspection reports, and other required documentation.

Maintain compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.

Assist with loading and unloading materials as needed.

Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and project personnel.

Keep vehicles clean and report maintenance concerns promptly.

Follow all site-specific safety requirements and traffic control procedures.

Support other construction operations when driving duties are limited.
Qualifications

Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.

Previous dump truck or construction-related driving experience preferred.

Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices.

Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Dependable attendance and punctuality.

Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug and alcohol testing.
Physical Requirements

Ability to climb in and out of trucks and equipment safely.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Ability to sit, drive, and operate equipment for extended periods.

Ability to work on uneven terrain and active construction sites.
Salary: $45.00/Hour
