Gauld Health is a multispecialty clinic looking for a Full-Time Medical Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service/patient care skills, a professional demeanor, and the ability to multi-task and work well with others. Full-Time Medical Assistants perform back office duties and assist in office procedures. At least one year experience working as a medical assistant in a medical facility preferred. Candidate must possess the following skills and traits to be considered for this position:

- Proficient with giving test results to the patient
- Willing to assist in marketing events or market the area
- EMR skills is a plus
- Proficient in sending electronic prescriptions as well as calling them into the pharmacy is a plus
- Familiar with Sterile Technique is a plus
Responsibilities and Duties: (included but not limited to)
- Manage Inventory
- Order supplies
- Stock rooms at all times
- Assist Providers in procedures: Sclerotherapy, Radiofrequency Ablation, VenaSeal, Varithena, laser, and xray.
- Data entry EMR/ Scribe
- Clean and Turnover rooms in a timely manor
- Perform sterile technique * Will be taught
- Handle sharps appropriately according to OSHA regulations
- Room Patients
- Obtain vitals: Manual BP, Temperature, Weight, Height, and Pulse
- Provide wound care management
- Assist front office with phones and patient concerns, have the ability to cross train to help when needed
- Provide excellent patient care
- Answer patient questions about venous disease
- Phone triage
- Prescription prior authorization
