A confidential manufacturing company is seeking a skilled Spray Technician to apply customer‑specified coatings using hand spray, electrostatic, and automated systems. This role supports production by ensuring high‑quality coating application, accurate documentation, and strict adherence to safety and quality standards.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Follow assigned production schedules and meet customer and quality specifications.
- Lift, load, and move trays, racks, and windows using physical and mechanical methods.
- Mix coatings and solvents according to formula requirements.
- Operate hand spray guns, bulk/tumble systems, turbine bells, electrostatic equipment, and robotic coating systems.
- Enter production data and amounts sprayed into manufacturing software.
- Record non‑conforming product counts and types.
- Request supplies through the inventory system when needed.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and follow work instructions.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well‑kept work area and equipment.
- Properly dispose of hazardous and non‑hazardous waste.
Computer & ERP System Skills
Candidates must be comfortable using computers as part of daily production activities. This includes:
- Navigating basic software programs
- Entering production data accurately
- Reviewing work orders and material usage
- Supporting inventory and scheduling processes through the company’s ERP system
Strong digital accuracy and the ability to learn new systems quickly are essential.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Prior experience in a spray or coating operation preferred.
- Ability to read work instructions, job costing sheets, and quality documentation.
- Basic math skills, including fractions, decimals, and reading weight scales.
- Ability to follow detailed written or verbal instructions and make basic quality‑related decisions (color, coverage, etc).
- Basic computer proficiency and comfort with ERP systems.
Other Requirements
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Physical Demands
- Regularly required to stand for most of the shift.
- Frequent bending, twisting, reaching, grasping, and lifting.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally with assistance.
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
