Job Summary
Position Information: Quality inspector is responsible for inspecting and overseeing production
to ensure the quality standards are met. This position plays a key role in the growth of the
company and advocates quality products.
Responsibilities:
- Understand quality standards for all products.
- Perform hourly audits on product.
- Communicate effectively with others.
- Record and report defects to appropriate personnel.
- Remove products that do not meet quality standards.
- Place non-conforming products on hold.
- Recommend strategies or tools to help improve quality.
- Ensure quality procedures are followed.
- Coach others on best practice for producing products that meet company quality standards.
- Any other duties assigned.
Non-Technical Skills:
- Strong attention to detail.
- Works well with others.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand or sit for entire shift.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED preferred. Or three to six months’ related experience.
