MGI Mechanical Services is seeking an experienced, driven, and results-oriented General Manager to lead the daily operations of our rapidly growing HVAC company. This individual will oversee all departments, develop and execute strategic initiatives, improve profitability, build high-performing teams, and ensure an exceptional customer experience.
We are looking for a proven leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is passionate about developing people, and has extensive experience managing residential and new construction operations.
What You'll Do
- Provide leadership and direction to all departments including:
- Service
- Retrofit/Replacement
- New Construction
- Warehouse
- Office Administration
- Sales
- Develop and execute company goals, budgets, and growth strategies.
- Monitor financial performance, profitability, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Lead and coach department managers to achieve operational excellence.
- Improve processes, efficiency, accountability, and customer satisfaction.
- Review financial statements and work closely with accounting.
- Manage staffing, recruiting, training, and employee development.
- Ensure all departments meet quality, safety, and performance standards.
- Oversee scheduling, inventory management, fleet operations, and production.
- Work with ownership to develop long-term business strategies.
- Foster a positive company culture focused on teamwork, integrity, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of leadership experience, preferably in the HVAC, construction, or home services industry.
- Proven experience managing multiple departments.
- Strong financial and business management skills.
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and profit and loss management.
- Ability to motivate, mentor, and hold teams accountable.
- Excellent communication and conflict-resolution skills.
- Experience with CRM and ERP software (ServiceTitan experience preferred).
- Strong organizational and decision-making abilities.
- Valid driver's license.
