Description
Deliver the instructional program and the overall operation of the school including the enrollment & retention of students, parent and community relations, staff supervision and development, marketing plan implementation, and facility management.
Responsibilities
· Manage day-to-day activities as required
· Establish performance goals and objectives
· Create academic programs and instructional resources
· Monitor students for progress and make appropriate referrals
· Assist with record-keeping
· Conduct tours and marketing activities
· Meet with other administrators, parents, and community organizations as required
· Communicate with parents and resolve their concerns
· Maintaining proactive and positive relationship with parents and prospective parents
· Ensure compliance with state licensing standards
· Foster and maintain a safe environment
· Supervise, evaluate, train, and mentor teachers and other staff
· Recruiting qualified staff and new employee orientation
· Work actively with teachers to maintain high curriculum standards
· Enrolling new families, including tours
· Visit classrooms, observe teaching methods, and make recommendations for improvement
· Staff scheduling
· Provide feedback to the management regarding the operations
· Assist with collection tuition and other fees
· Answer phones and serves at the front desk as needed
· May be required to step into the Teacher role in the classroom when needed (during staff shortages)
· Ordering supplies
· Attend training and development sessions as required
· Supervise meal program
· All other duties as assigned or deemed necessary
Requirements and Qualifications
· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with at least 18 credit hours in early childhood education or human development
· Director’s Credentials
· Experience in education administration or business administration
· Knowledge of state licensing standards
· Experience with early childhood education in terms of safety, cognitive & social/emotional learning, and communication with parents
· Daycare classroom experience
· Be an energizing and positive influence on staff, students, and parents
· A history of achievement

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
