Position: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery for $3,680/weekly

Compensation:
Weekly Gross Pay: Up to $3,680/week
Taxable Pay: Approximately $1,080/week ($30/hour)
Housing & Meal Stipend: Approximately $2,600/week
Estimated Blended Rate: Approximately $102.22/hour
The department includes 9 labor rooms, 2 operating/recovery rooms, and 5 triage rooms, with approximately 3,000 deliveries annually.
Key Responsibilities
· Provide comprehensive nursing care to labor and delivery patients.
· Monitor maternal and fetal conditions throughout labor and delivery.
· Assess patients and develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
· Provide care for high-risk obstetric patients.
· Collaborate with physicians, midwives, anesthesia, and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
· Assist with procedures and provide support in the L&D operating rooms.
· Perform OR circulating responsibilities as required.
· Monitor and interpret fetal and maternal telemetry data.
· Independently read and interpret telemetry strips.
· Maintain accurate patient documentation in EPIC.
· Provide patient and family education and emotional support.
· Maintain patient safety and follow infection-control and facility policies.
· Respond appropriately to changes in maternal or fetal condition.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 recent years of Labor & Delivery RN experience.
- OR circulator experience required.
- Previous travel experience required.
- High-risk obstetrics experience preferred.
- EPIC experience required.
- Must be able to independently read and interpret telemetry strips.
- Must pass the Telemetry Test on Day 1 with a minimum score of 85%.
- CNM experience will not be considered in place of L&D RN experience.
Required Certifications:
o BLS
o NRP
· NRP must be current and must not expire during the proposed assignment.
· All required NRP lessons must be completed.
o Evidence of completing Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring, preferably AWHONN.
· Preferred: Dysrhythmia/Telemetry Interpretation course.

Work Location: In person
