Job Summary
Nu Vision Logistics a new Atlanta-based trucking company seeking experienced CDL Class A drivers for local rail and container work. Drivers will operate diesel 10-speed manual trucks, perform container deliveries/pickup, and assist with container yard operations. This is a 1099 contractor position with fuel paid by the company, weekly pay, and competitive 30% to 32% of gross per load, plus safe driving bonus opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate 10-speed manual Class A trucks for local rail and container moves
- Pick up and delivery containers to rail yards (Norfolk Southern/CSX Transportation)
- Load, unload, and park containers as needed.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain a clean driving record and follow DOT/FMCSA regulations
- Communicate with dispatch regarding load status, delays, or issues
- Keep accurate records of hours of service and deliveries
- Maintain safe driving standards to qualify of bonuses
Experience
- CDL CLASS A with no automatic restriction (E restriction)
- Minimum 2 years experience driving manual 10-speed trucks
- Experience with rail/container operations preferred
- Clean driving record (MVR)
- Able to pass drug and background checks
- Knowledge of basic truck maintenance and safety procedures
