Key Responsibilities

Maintain a clean, organized dishroom and kitchen equipment area

Wash and sanitize tableware, pots, pans, and cooking equipment by hand and machine

Follow strict adherence to schedules, uniform, and grooming policies

Comply with company, state, and county sanitation standards

Assist other team members with cleaning and kitchen tasks as needed

Perform janitorial duties including sweeping, mopping, and cleaning bathrooms and windows

Attend company meetings and training seminars
Qualifications

6 months to 2 years of related experience preferred

High school diploma or GED preferred

Food Handler’s Certificate as required

Strong verbal communication skills and ability to follow directions

Capable of safely using kitchen tools and equipment
Physical Requirements

Ability to stand and walk throughout entire shifts in a restaurant environment

Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and work in conditions with wet floors, noise, steam, and hot water
