We are looking for an experienced AP Physics Tutor who can provide expert instruction in all levels of physics, including AP Physics 1, AP Physics 2, and AP Physics C. The ideal candidate has a strong academic background in physics, a degree in the field, and proven teaching experience. Familiarity with the AP Physics curriculum is essential.
**Previous high school science tutoring/teaching experience is required.**

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions in AP Physics 1, AP Physics 2, and AP Physics C (Mechanics and Electricity & Magnetism)
- Develop lesson plans that are tailored to meet each student's specific needs and learning style
- Help students master complex physics concepts and problem-solving techniques
- Prepare students for AP exams by reinforcing key topics, providing practice tests, and teaching test-taking strategies
- Track student progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed to ensure academic success
- Communicate student progress with parents or guardians regularly
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Physics or a related field (required)
- Proven teaching experience in Physics at the high school or college level, with a strong preference for experience in teaching AP Physics
- In-depth knowledge of the AP Physics curriculum and exam format
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain challenging concepts in a clear, engaging manner
- Passion for teaching and helping students succeed
