- Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand their health history, current symptoms, and specific treatment goals.
- Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend appropriate therapies for ongoing pain management or injury recovery.
- Maintain detailed records of treatments provided, including patient progress notes and treatment plans.
- Ensure a safe and hygienic environment by adhering to all health regulations and sanitation protocols.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals or medical staff when necessary to coordinate patient care.
- Stay current with industry trends, new techniques, and continuing education opportunities to enhance your skills and service quality.
Qualifications
- Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with active certification and registration.
- Proven experience in patient service, with strong skills in patient assessment and customized treatment planning.
- Expertise in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management techniques.
- Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy practice.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming and relaxing environment for clients.
- Familiarity with occupational health standards and best practices for workplace safety.
- Prior experience working in a med spa or similar wellness setting is preferred; ongoing education related to massage therapy is highly valued. Pay: $30.00 - $60.00 per hour
