Lyons Township Soccer Club (LTSC) and Ginga Futsal Academy are seeking an experienced, passionate, and highly motivated Futsal Director to lead all aspects of the club’s futsal programming while also serving as a coach within the LTSC travel soccer program.
The Futsal Director will oversee the strategic development, administration, coaching education, player development, training curriculum, and competitive futsal programming for Ginga Futsal Academy. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a high-performance futsal environment that supports player development and complements LTSC’s overall soccer pathway.
This individual will also coach assigned LTSC travel teams and work collaboratively with club leadership to ensure alignment between futsal and soccer development philosophies.
Key Responsibilities
Futsal Program Leadership
- Direct and oversee all aspects of the Ginga Futsal Academy program.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive futsal curriculum for all age groups and competitive levels.
- Establish annual goals and strategic plans for player, coach, and program development.
- Manage futsal program scheduling, staffing, registration support, and operational logistics.
- Coordinate futsal leagues, tournaments, showcases, and competitive events.
- Recruit and retain players within the futsal pathway.
- Build relationships with local clubs, leagues, tournament organizers, and futsal organizations.
- Promote futsal as a critical component of player development within LTSC.
Coaching & Player Development
- Lead training sessions across all age groups within the futsal program.
- Design and implement age-appropriate technical and tactical development plans.
- Evaluate players and provide development feedback to players and families.
- Create player pathways from recreational participation through elite-level competition.
- Support player identification and talent development initiatives.
Competitive Program Management
- Oversee all competitive futsal teams and coaching staff.
- Develop seasonal competition plans and tournament schedules.
- Manage team formation, player evaluations, and roster selection processes.
- Ensure teams are prepared for local, regional, and national futsal competitions.
- Maintain high standards of player conduct, professionalism, and performance.
Coach Development
- Recruit, mentor, and evaluate futsal coaching staff.
- Lead coaching education sessions and staff meetings.
- Ensure coaching consistency through curriculum implementation and performance reviews.
- Foster a positive learning environment for coaches and players.
LTSC Travel Team Coaching
- Serve as head coach for assigned LTSC travel soccer teams.
- Plan and deliver high-quality training sessions consistent with LTSC’s player development philosophy.
- Manage match-day responsibilities, player evaluations, and parent communication.
- Participate in club events, tryouts, camps, and coaching meetings.
- Collaborate with age-group directors and technical leadership staff.
Administrative Responsibilities
- Assist with budgeting and program planning.
- Maintain accurate player and team records.
- Support marketing, social media, and promotional initiatives for Ginga Futsal Academy.
- Attend club meetings and provide regular program updates to leadership.
- Ensure compliance with club, league, and governing body policies.
Qualifications
Required
- Minimum USSF C License.
- Demonstrated futsal playing experience.
- Demonstrated futsal coaching experience.
- Minimum 3 years of coaching experience in a club, academy, high school, collegiate, or professional environment.
- Strong understanding of player development methodologies.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and travel as required.
Preferred
- U.S. Futsal Coaching License and/or United Futsal Coaching Education.
- USSF B License or higher.
- Experience managing futsal programs, academies, or clubs.
- Experience developing coaches and implementing club-wide curriculums.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.
