Job description
Offering full-time position for a Fuel Truck Driver. Must have CDL with tanker & hazmat endorsement. Various routes in and around the DFW, Texas area. The hours can and will change based on customer's needs. Looking for the right candidate to bring his/her "A-game" to an amazing company with unlimited growth. Key Responsibilities:
- Drive company vehicle to customer locations, climb in and out of vehicles, and walk up and down stairs as required to deliver Fuel to equipment and generators according to established procedures, in all weather conditions
- Handle and deliver fuel equipment in a safe and punctual manner considering traffic patterns, alternative routes, traffic regulations, and driving conditions to meet customer and USWF requirements
- Perform vehicle inspection such as checking fluid level and tire pressure, notifying managers about any major repairs and maintenance needs
- Maintain driving log, prepare vehicle performance forms and complete daily paperwork
- Follow local and state driving laws and road regulations
- Maintain a clean and safe vehicle
- Report any accidents or injuries to management immediately
- Ensure all fuel received is safely delivered to the correct equipment and document equipment information
- Operate a scanner to record gallons and fuel information for all deliveries
- Maintain good work habits, reporting to work on time and adhering to standard work and safety procedures
- Assist in training new Fuel Delivery Associates and ride along with them to review performance and the proper use of routes and practices when necessary
- Adhere to company operating policies and procedures
- Complete routes dispatched and return to Jarrell, TX Yard.

You must meet the following job requirements as listed below to qualify to work for United Southwest Fuels as a Fuel Delivery Associate (Driver):
- Must have a current valid drivers license (CDL required with HAZMAT & Tanker endorsement)
- Consent to a Drug Screening
- Consent to a Background Check
- Safe driving experience
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays
- Must have a strong knowledge of state driving laws
- Must have experience working with small/ heavy equipment
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift a maximum of 75 lbs during a 8-10 hour work shift
- Must be able to handle stressful workload and driving demands
- Must be able to walk, climb stairs, reach overhead, squat, bend, kneel, stoop and crouch repeatedly during a 8-10 hour work shift

Pay Structure: starting at $26.00 and up. Salary depends on driving experience and general understanding of construction equipment
Experience:
- delivery driver: 3 year (Preferred)
- carded rack fueling experience
- General Understanding of construction equipment
- Ability to back a 20' trailer in tight spaces
- Ability to navigate through harsh weather conditions and roads
- Hauling a trailer with equipment and/or liquids: 3 years
- Experience in the petroleum industry helpful but not necessary
- Working on construction sites and customer sites
- Working outdoors in all-weather conditions
