Duties
- Support students during tutoring sessions, providing encouragement and guidance across subjects such as mathematics, and English language arts
- Help maintain an organized classroom environment conducive to focused learning and student engagement
- Utilize learning technology tools to enhance instructional delivery and adapt lessons for various learning styles
- Monitor student progress through assessments and provide feedback to instructors for ongoing instructional adaptability
- Engage with students from diverse cultural backgrounds, fostering an inclusive and respectful learning atmosphere
Experience
- Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are essential
- Strong communication skills with the ability to connect effectively with students, parents, and team members
- Experience in tutoring or teaching math, English language arts is highly desirable
- Knowledge of learning technology tools and online instruction platforms is a plus
- Ability to adapt instructional strategies based on individual student learning styles and needs
