Job Summary
This is a base salary of $60,000 per year plus sales commissions with no cap. We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Inside Sales (B2B) professional to join our team! In this energetic role, you will be the driving force behind building strong business relationships, generating new opportunities, and closing deals with corporate clients. The position reports directly to the National Sales Manager who reports to the President of the company.
You will be spending most of your time making B2B calls (50%) and emails (25%) to our target customers to find the right person in-charge of food safety and introduce our equipment and the unique value we offer. The remainder of your time is spend doing online research about your target customers and supporting the outside salesperson located within your assigned territory, if any.
Your goal is to introduce our target customers to our company, set appointments for online meetings and support distributors within the territory for lead-generation and technical support.

Responsibilities
- Engage in outbound calling campaigns to prospective business clients, establishing rapport and identifying their needs
- Utilize CRM software such as Salesforce to track leads, manage customer interactions, and update sales pipelines effectively
- Conduct consultative selling by understanding client requirements and presenting tailored technology solutions that meet their business objectives
- Negotiate terms and close deals efficiently while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop strategies for lead generation and brand awareness within target markets
- Maintain excellent communication skills during phone conversations to ensure clarity and professionalism in all interactions
- Support business development initiatives by identifying new opportunities through warm calling and market research
Experience
- Proven experience in inside sales or telemarketing within a B2B environment, preferably in technology or software sales but 3 years in any sales related field will be considered.
- Strong negotiation skills with a track record of deal closing success
- Familiarity with CRM software such as Salesforce or other sales technology platforms
- Experience in technical sales or consultative selling approaches is highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate complex solutions clearly
- Demonstrated ability to handle outbound calling campaigns effectively and build lasting customer relationships
- Knowledge of sales processes, customer service principles, and marketing strategies related to B2B sales Qualified applicants must be proficient in Microsoft programs such as Outlook, Word and Excel.
You must possess excellent writing skills for emailing customers.
You must be comfortable cold-calling our target customers (businesses) and have great phone skills.
A degree is preferred but not required as candidates with equivalent experience will be considered.
Must currently live within a reasonable commute to the Middletown/Harrisburg area and have dependable transportation to and from work. (this is not a remote working position)
Travel requirements: Optional trade shows several times per year will be offered if the candidate is interested and an annual trip to China to visit the factory where the equipment is made. Expenses are paid by the company.
