Job Title: Civil Superintendent
Job Location: Columbia, South Carolina
Base Salary: $90K-120K
Requirements: 5+ years of civil construction experience. Must have completed grading/earthwork & utilities on Commercial & industrial projects.
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Civil Superintendent to oversee and manage civil construction projects. The ideal candidate will ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The Civil Superintendent will play a key role in coordinating site activities, managing project resources, and liaising with clients and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage and supervise daily civil construction activities on site.

Coordinate and schedule project tasks and resources to ensure timely completion.

Oversee grading, earthwork, and excavation operations to ensure compliance with project specifications.

Ensure proper site preparation and utilities installation per design requirements.

Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions as necessary to maintain schedules and budgets.

Conduct regular safety inspections and enforce compliance with safety regulations.

Liaise with subcontractors, clients, and project stakeholders to facilitate communication and address any issues.
Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Civil Superintendent or similar role in construction industry.

Strong knowledge of civil construction processes, including grading, earthwork, and excavation.

Familiarity with site preparation and utilities installation methods.

Experience in managing industrial and commercial construction projects.
