Position Overview
As an Appliance Repair Technician, you will be a key member of our team, responsible for delivering high-quality and efficient diagnosis, repair, maintenance, and installation of appliances in customers' homes. You'll also identify opportunities to upsell additional services while providing exceptional customer experiences.
This role is perfect for self-motivated individuals who excel at troubleshooting, time management, and communicating effectively with customers, supervisors, and team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately diagnose and repair appliances/equipment in customers' homes
- Install home appliances and equipment
- Provide cost estimates for repairs/installations and collect payment
- Ensure efficient use of materials and maintain company vehicle and equipment
- Complete invoices, daily route sheets, and weekly reports
- Perform other duties as needed, including cross-training in related areas
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record
- At least 18 years of age
- Proficiency with tablet-based technology
- Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds repetitively and up to 100 pounds occasionally
- Physical capability to perform strenuous work in varied conditions
- Flexible availability for variable hours (no weekends required)
Physical Demands
The role involves standing, walking, sitting, reaching, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and occasional lifting/moving up to 50 pounds.
