Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklift trucks, reach trucks, Hi-Lo forklifts, clamp trucks, and pallet jacks to load, unload, move, and stack materials within the warehouse.
- Conduct routine equipment inspections and perform basic repairs or coordinate maintenance to ensure optimal operation.
- Manage inventory using warehouse management systems (WMS) and barcode scanning tools to track materials accurately.
- Assist with order picking, order fulfillment, shipping, and receiving tasks while adhering to warehouse safety standards in production.
- Follow OSHA guidelines and warehouse safety protocols during all manual handling and heavy lifting activities.
- Support warehouse distribution efforts by organizing stock locations and maintaining a clean, safe work environment.
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize storage solutions and improve overall warehouse operations.
Experience
- Proven experience operating material handling equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, clamp trucks, or similar machinery in a warehouse setting.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management practices, and barcode scanning for logistics.
- Familiarity with safety standards in production environments including OSHA regulations related to forklift safety protocols.
- Experience in shipping & receiving processes, heavy lifting techniques, and manual handling procedures.
- Mechanical knowledge for basic equipment repair or troubleshooting is a plus.
- Prior warehouse experience involving order picking, load & unload activities, and materials handling is highly desirable.
- Ability to demonstrate basic math skills for inventory counts and measurements.

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
