Arizona Protection Systems, a leading fire protection service provider, is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Fire Suppression Technician to join our growing team in Mesa, AZ. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, inspecting, and maintaining a variety of fire suppression systems across commercial and industrial settings. We are willing to train the right motivated individuals who demonstrate a strong work ethic and a keen interest in the fire protection field.
Regular Schedule: Mon - Fri 7-4 PM.
Ability to occasionally work a modified schedule 5am-2pm is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, inspect, and maintain fire suppression systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair fire suppression systems.
- Conduct Annual/Semi-Annual maintenance tasks.
- Collaborate effectively with team members.
- Safe driving practices.
- Track inventory and maintain needed tools for daily work orders.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong understanding of fire protection principles and fire suppression system types (preferred, but not required)
- Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals (preferred, but not required)
- Proficient troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication both verbal and written. Filling out reports will be a significant part of work.
- Capable of working independently.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Able to lift up to 75 lbs. multiple times.
- Strong awareness of surroundings at all times.
- Able to work on ladders and on scissor lifts.
