Job Summary
We are seeking a highly expierienced carpenter with very high attention to detail to oversee crew of 2-6 finish carpenters on single design build project.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise finish carpentry crews, assigning tasks and monitoring performance to ensure efficient workflow.
- Review construction drawings, schematics, and technical specifications to interpret project requirements accurately.
- Coordinate with project managers and other trades to align schedules and ensure seamless project progression.
- Oversee the installation of interior finishes such as trim, cabinetry, doors, windows, and custom millwork with precision.
- Conduct quality control inspections to verify workmanship meets design specifications and safety standards.
- Review blueprints and schematics regularly to identify potential issues early and implement corrective actions proactively.
- Foster a collaborative team environment by managing crew schedules, providing mentorship, and promoting safety awareness.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in high end custom residential construction projects with a strong background in finish carpentry.
- Demonstrated supervisory experience managing teams in a construction management role with excellent leadership skills.
- Skilled in blueprint reading, interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and construction drawings review.
- Excellent communication skills for managerial coordination, client interactions, and team supervision.
Pay: $55.00 - $75.00 per hour
