Seasonal | Full-Time | August–November | $22–$27/hour
Looking for a kitchen position where you can focus on cooking, work independently, and be part of one of the busiest catering seasons of the year?
Partyman Catering is hiring a Seasonal Production Chef to support our catering team during peak season. This role is perfect for an experienced cook who enjoys large-scale food production, takes pride in consistency, and thrives in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Unlike a traditional restaurant line position, you'll play a key role in preparing the food that powers hundreds of weddings, corporate events, and celebrations throughout the region.
Schedule
- Seasonal position (approximately August through November)
- Must have flexible availability. Potential for weekdays and weekends.
- Additional hours may be available during peak production weeks.
What You'll Do
- Prepare and cook large-volume batches of food
- Follow established recipes and production plans
- Portion, package, label, cool, and store products
- Maintain food safety and sanitation standards
- Organize work to keep production on schedule
- Complete production records and communicate shift updates
- Work independently while collaborating with kitchen leadership
We're Looking For Someone Who...
- Has 1–2+ years of professional kitchen experience
- Is confident with knife skills and cooking fundamentals
- Works efficiently with minimal supervision
- Stays organized in a fast-paced environment
- Takes pride in producing consistent, high-quality food
- Has experience in catering, commissary, batch cooking, or high-volume production (preferred)
Compensation
$20.00–$25.00/hour, based on experience.
