Job Summary
Overview
At PRSC, we take pride in helping homeowners through the insurance restoration process with professionalism, accuracy, and care. This role is a key part of our company and serves as the bridge between homeowners, insurance adjusters, local building inspectors, our sales team, and our production team.
The Supplement Specialist is responsible for reviewing insurance estimates, verifying scopes and quantities, preparing supplement requests, and helping ensure each claim is properly documented and moves smoothly from initial inspection through final payment.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Review insurance estimates for accuracy, missing items, quantities, and code-related requirements
- Prepare and submit supplemental estimates and supplement emails to insurance adjusters
- Communicate professionally with insurance adjusters, local building inspectors, homeowners, and internal team members
- Verify roof measurements, EagleView reports, photos, scopes, and job documentation
- Review and compare insurance scopes against company inspection findings and project needs
- Build, review, or assist with estimates in Xactimate
- Track and document claim progress inside AccuLynx CRM
- Maintain organized records using Google Docs, CRM notes, photos, estimates, and claim files
- Assist in gathering supporting documentation such as building code requirements, manufacturer installation instructions, photos, and inspection notes
- Help ensure each claim is handled efficiently, accurately, and professionally
- Collaborate with sales, production, and office staff to keep jobs moving forward
- Maintain a professional and respectful tone in all written and verbal communication
- Stay informed on insurance restoration processes, construction standards, roofing systems, and local code requirements
Requirements
- The ideal candidate will have:
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to stay organized while managing multiple claims at once
- Strong computer skills
- Ability to learn and use software systems such as AccuLynx, Xactimate, EagleView, and Google Docs
- A professional attitude when communicating with homeowners, adjusters, inspectors, and coworkers
- Ability to problem-solve and follow claims from start to finish
- Willingness to learn roofing, construction, insurance estimating, and supplement processes
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
