Position Overview
We are seeking responsible, professional, and community-minded Security Officers to help provide a safe and welcoming environment for young athletes, coaches, parents, staff, and spectators during youth football games and league events.
The Security Officer will be responsible for maintaining a visible security presence, monitoring the facility and surrounding areas, assisting with crowd control, and responding appropriately to safety concerns or incidents.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a visible and professional security presence throughout games and events.
- Monitor entrances, exits, sidelines, stands, parking areas, and other designated areas.
- Help ensure players, coaches, parents, staff, and spectators follow league rules and facility policies.
- Assist with crowd control and help prevent disruptive behavior.
- Respond calmly and professionally to conflicts, disturbances, or safety concerns.
- Report suspicious activity, injuries, property damage, or other incidents to league management and/or emergency personnel when necessary.
- Assist with emergency procedures and evacuation protocols.
- Help protect players and staff from unauthorized individuals entering restricted areas.
- Maintain a safe environment around the field, including keeping spectators out of player-only areas.
- Complete basic incident reports when required.
- Work cooperatively with league officials, coaches, volunteers, and local emergency services.
- Treat all children, families, and community members with professionalism, respect, and courtesy.
Qualifications
- Previous security, event security, law enforcement, military, or customer-service experience is preferred but may not be required.
- Must be dependable, professional, and able to remain calm under pressure.
- Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to work around children and families in a positive and respectful manner.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Must follow all applicable state and local security licensing requirements.
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.
- Must be willing to follow league policies and youth-safety requirements.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
