Amazon Delivery Driver – Independent Contractor / Substitute
Twin Lakes Creamery is seeking dependable independent contractors to assist with Amazon package delivery on an as-needed/substitute basis in the Grayson County area.
This is a great opportunity for someone looking for flexible, occasional work. Drivers will be contacted when additional delivery help is needed due to increased package volume, scheduling needs, or regular driver availability.
Position Responsibilities
- Pick up, organize, and deliver assigned Amazon packages
- Complete deliveries accurately and within the required delivery window
- Follow assigned delivery routes and Amazon delivery procedures
- Maintain the required minimum deliveries-per-hour (DPH) performance standard
- Properly document completed deliveries and any delivery issues
- Handle customer packages carefully and professionally
- Communicate promptly regarding route or delivery problems
Independent Contractor Requirements
Drivers are independent contractors and are responsible for providing:
- A reliable personal vehicle suitable for package delivery
- All fuel/gas used while completing deliveries
- A valid driver’s license
- Current vehicle registration and insurance
- A reliable smartphone with data service
Applicant Requirements
Applicants must:
- Be dependable and available for occasional/as-needed routes
- Have a clean driving and criminal background
- Successfully pass a background check
- Be comfortable driving throughout the local area
- Be able to safely lift and handle packages of varying sizes
- Be able to work independently without direct supervision
- Maintain required delivery productivity and accuracy standards
- Have a good driving record and reliable transportation
Schedule
As Needed / Substitute
This is not a guaranteed-hours position. Contractors may be contacted when routes become available and can be used to cover vacations, call-outs, increased package volume, or other delivery needs.
Availability may vary from week to week.

The ideal driver is dependable, efficient, organized, comfortable using navigation apps, and able to maintain a steady delivery pace while still delivering packages safely and correctly.
Because this position involves handling customer packages and working independently, reliability and accountability are extremely important.
