Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will provide high-quality primary care to children, focusing on their physical, emotional, and developmental health. You will work closely with families to ensure the best outcomes for pediatric patients, utilizing your expertise in various medical practices.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and health assessments for pediatric patients.
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic illnesses in children, including but not limited to respiratory infections, allergies, and developmental disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and evidence-based practices.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care for patients.
- Educate patients and families about health maintenance, disease prevention, and management of existing conditions.
- Maintain accurate patient records using ICD-10 coding for diagnoses and treatments provided.
- Advocate for children with disabilities and their families to ensure access to appropriate resources and services.
Experience
- Current or Eligible North Carolina Nurse Practitioner License.
- Previous experience in primary care or pediatrics is preferred.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, families, and healthcare professionals are essential.
- A valid nursing license is required along with certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner.

Pay: $95,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
