Scoot's Café is looking for a dependable, hardworking Line Cook to join our kitchen team.
This position is for someone who enjoys cooking from scratch, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and understands that a great kitchen is built on teamwork, consistency, and cleanliness.
We're looking for someone who:
- Works with urgency without sacrificing quality
- Takes pride in preparing great food every plate, every time
- Keeps their station clean, organized, and ready for service
- Isn't afraid to jump into dishes, deep cleaning, or whatever the team needs
- Shows up on time, works hard, and has a positive attitude
Responsibilities include:
- Preparing and cooking menu items to recipe standards
- Completing daily prep lists
- Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen
- Assisting with deliveries, stocking, and inventory
- Completing closing duties and maintaining high sanitation standards
Restaurant experience is preferred, but we're willing to train someone with the right work ethic and attitude.
If you're looking for a kitchen where everyone pulls their weight and takes pride in their work, we'd love to meet you. This isn't the position for someone looking to stand at one station all day. Our team cooks, preps, cleans, stocks, and supports each other wherever needed.
Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
