PAYROLL SPECIALIST

Position Summary: Under the guidance of the Payroll Manager, the specialist facilitates and reviews timecards and payroll in order to ensure compliance with both state and federal law as well as company policy.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Process and organize timesheets on a daily/weekly basis
- Process daily payroll requests for external employees per Company policy
- Process new hire paperwork and changes in employee payroll status
- Provide support for the Office Coordinator/front desk
- Assist Billing Department personnel with collection and claims
- Assisting the Payroll and Accounting divisions as needed
- Process, facilitate and resolve internal and external employees questions or concerns
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 Years experience
- Detail oriented coupled with impeccable follow through
- Demonstrated customer service skills to include: flexibility, patience, with a courteous and professional demeanor
- Comfort in a high paced environment with ability to multi task a must
