Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and identify their parts needs through active listening and effective communication skills.
- Assist customers in locating parts using inventory management systems and provide detailed product information.
- Manage sales transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems, handle cash and credit payments, and process returns or exchanges professionally.
- Maintain organized stock levels by stocking shelves, managing inventory control, and conducting regular stock checks to ensure product availability.
- Collaborate with the service team to support repair and maintenance operations by providing timely parts support.
- Utilize diagnostics knowledge to recommend suitable parts or accessories for vehicle repairs or upgrades.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards while managing multiple tasks efficiently in a retail setting.
Qualifications
- Previous dealership or retail sales experience preferred; familiarity with equipment repair or service environments is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage inventory control and order fulfillment accurately.
- Excellent communication skills; bilingual abilities are highly valued for serving diverse customer bases but not required.
- Knowledge of automotive diagnostics, equipment maintenance and service procedures is advantageous.
- Experience with RIMSS systems is desirable.
- Demonstrated negotiation skills combined with excellent phone etiquette for engaging customers over the phone or in person.
- Ability to handle cashiering duties including cash handling with precision while maintaining positive customer interactions.
- Organizational skills to manage stocking routines, POS transactions, and customer service simultaneously in a some times fast-paced environment.
- Reliable transportation to ensure punctuality
- Light lifting and bending along with long periods of standing/leaning required
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
