What You’ll Do
As a Meat Market Clerk, you’ll be an important part of the Eden Meat Market team. Your days will be anything but boring!
You will...
- Welcome customers and provide outstanding, friendly service
- Learn about and help customers with our meat, sausage, deli, catering, and specialty products
- Assemble, package, weigh, wrap, and prepare customer orders
- Take phone and other customer orders
- Operate the cash register and process cash, checks, credit cards, and gift cards
- Prepare items such as cheese trays, sausage trays, subs, and other specialty orders
- Help prepare and load customer and delivery orders
- Keep work areas, equipment, and food-service areas clean and sanitary
- Follow food-safety procedures and Wisconsin inspection requirements
- Work closely with owners, managers, and the entire team to keep the market running smoothly
- Help us continue improving our products, service, and customer experience

We’re looking for someone who is:

- Flexible and willing to jump in wherever needed
- Comfortable working with customers, cash registers, computers, phones, scales, and food-service equipment
- Willing and able to work weekends
- At least currently attending high school or possessing a high school diploma/equivalent
This Is an Active Job!
This isn't a sit-behind-a-desk-all-day position. You'll spend your time on your feet, moving, serving customers, preparing products, stocking, cleaning, and keeping things moving.
The position may require standing for extended periods, working in a cooler at temperatures around 30°F or below for up to 35 minutes at a time, and lifting/stocking items weighing up to 60 pounds.
