CLASS B CDL Driver for Moving Company, $1000 Sign-on Bonus
Local Class B CDL Driver/Mover/Crew Leader, driving Class B straight truck, moving, packing, wrapping, inventory and transport of household goods and commercial equipment for residential and commercial customers, supervising moving crew.
- Starting pay $17-19 per hour, paid weekly
- Full-time, Monday through Friday, overtime available
- Sign-on bonus will be paid in 3 installments over 6 months of employment

Requirements:
- Must 2 years minimum experience driving Class B CDL commercial vehicles.
- Must be able to wrap, carry, and move household furniture including up and down stairs
- Moving industry experience preferred
- Must have a valid driver’s license for at least 2 years
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check
- Wear company approved uniform and maintain a clean and professional appearance
- Be punctual, hard-working, and reliable
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate Class B straight trucks in a safe manner in accordance with Department of Transportation (DOT) and company policies.
- Supervise and provide instructions to crew members.
- Load and unload vans, warehouse vaults, overseas crates, and move household goods and commercial equipment.
- Lift, carry, and load household goods and commercial items into moving trucks for transport to and from customer locations, including up and down stairs.
- Pad-wrap furniture and pack items into moving cartons with care to ensure items are undamaged while properly utilizing moving equipment and established best practices.
- Prepare an inventory of items to ensure no items are lost during transportation.
- Keep track of inventories and pack counts.
- Plan and supervise the most efficient way to pack items into the moving truck or warehouse crate.
- Unload, deliver, correctly place and set-up household goods and commercial items inside customer homes and facilities.
- Respond to inquiries and requests from customers in a knowledgeable and professional way.
