Job Summary
We are an employee-owned company that is looking for a HVAC/R technician. You will travel to each client's local to inspect their current equipment, identify problems and perform necessary repairs, replacements or routine maintenance. We work with both residential and commercial customers. Our work schedule is Monday - Friday with rotating 24 hour on-call responsibilities for evenings, weekends and holidays.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on HVAC, refrigeration, and appliance systems using schematics and technical manuals.
- Install, modify, and upgrade HVAC/R equipment according to design specifications and industry standards.
- Diagnose electrical issues using tools such as ohmmeters and conduct equipment repair or replacement as needed.
- Maintain refrigeration systems and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
- Conduct plumbing work related to HVAC systems, including pipe fitting and leak repairs.
- Utilize welding skills for component fabrication or repair when necessary.
- Document all service activities thoroughly, including detailed reports on repairs, maintenance procedures, and system performance.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a service technician specializing in HVAC and refrigeration.
- Hands-on experience with equipment repair, boiler operation, and appliance servicing.
- Ability to operate tools such as ohmmeters, welding equipment, and other diagnostic devices confidently.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- EPA Universal Card
- Two (2) years experience, preferred.
Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
