Akro-Plastics is looking for a reliable and independent candidate to fill our position. Experience in Shipping and Receiving is required. The physical ability to move/lift/handle parts and boxes up to 40 pounds is required for this job. Must show ability to work well with other employees and contracted shipping agents/truck drivers. $500 sign on bonus after completion of a 90 day satisfactory performance trial period.
Duties:
- Schedule shipments.
- Maintain all shipping records and data. Track all incoming and outgoing products
- Correct shipping problems
- Manage all UPS shipments
- Daily and weekly production reports as directed
- Communicate with customers and/or Office Management regarding shipping issues. Maintain all shipping records and data (track all incoming and outgoing products).
- Update and maintain all sub contractors’ shipping.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
