Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Massage Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate is knowledgeable in a variety of massage techniques, possesses a strong understanding of anatomy and pain management, and is passionate about helping patients improve their overall health and well-being.
As part of our integrated healthcare team, the Massage Therapist will work closely with chiropractors and other providers to deliver personalized treatment plans that support pain relief, recovery, mobility, and wellness goals. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, professionalism, and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Perform massage therapy techniques including deep tissue, trigger point therapy, and occupational health massages
- Conduct patient assessments to determine the appropriate massage techniques
- Provide acute pain management and assist in pain relief for clients
- Utilize medical terminology effectively during client interactions
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed for patient care
- Maintain accurate records of patient treatments and progress
Skills:
- Proficiency in trigger point therapy, deep tissue massage, and acute pain management
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and physical examinations
- Experience in medical spa or occupational health settings is a plus
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
