What You’ll Do
- Deliver high-quality emergency nursing care using the nursing process
- Assess patient needs and implement appropriate care and teaching strategies
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Manage and coordinate nursing resources efficiently, serving as a team leader as needed
- Utilize data and clinical knowledge to evaluate and improve patient outcomes
- Adhere to all regulatory standards and ensure compliance with laws and policies
- Maintain emergency response preparedness and patient safety protocols
What You Need
Required:
- Active Louisiana RN license
- BLS, CPI, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Minimum 2 years of emergency room nursing experience
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and handle exposure to biohazards
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or higher
- Certification in a clinical specialty area
