MTL Contracting Company specializes in residential remodeling/building/addition projects along with selective work in a commercial setting. We are looking for a self driven and organized Project Manager with local experience to manage projects from day to day on site activities to project planning with owners.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Construction Project Manager to oversee and manage various construction projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction management and possess knowledge of industry-specific software tools. Must have experience in similar role with local construction companies with relationships with local subcontractors, suppliers, and architects.
Responsibilities:
- Work with owner to plan and oversee construction projects from start to finish
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to determine project needs
-Ensure field staff always has the information, materials and equipment to keep the job moving.
-MUST have the ability to provide take off's of materials from both drawings and take field measurements as needed.
-Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and help ensure jobsites are in compliance.
-Coordinate with subcontracts to help verify scope of work, contract, and insurance paperwork.
- Ensure projects are completed within budget and on schedule
- Monitor and report on project progress
- Implement and maintain quality control procedures
- Manage project documentation and contracts
Skills:
-Field Knowledge of residential and light to medium size commercial construction
- Strong project management skills
- Excellent time management abilities
- Familiarity with construction processes and terminology
