Maintenance Director (HVAC) – Working Supervisor

Good Oil Company is seeking an experienced Maintenance Director to lead our maintenance team while remaining actively involved in the field. This is a working leadership role, not a desk job. We're looking for someone with a strong HVAC background who enjoys troubleshooting, mentoring technicians, and ensuring our convenience store locations are well maintained.
What You'll Do
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of maintenance technicians.
- Perform HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general building repairs.
- Prioritize and assign work orders while helping complete them.
- Develop and oversee preventive maintenance programs.
- Manage maintenance inventory and equipment.
- Coordinate outside contractors when needed.
- Ensure work is completed safely, on time, and within budget.
- Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies.
Qualifications
- HVAC certification and at least 5 years of HVAC experience required.
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting skills in commercial building maintenance.
- Ability to motivate and hold a team accountable.
- Valid driver's license.
- Proficient with basic Microsoft Office applications.
