Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Automotive Mechanic to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems and schematics to identify issues accurately.
- Repair and maintain various mechanical systems including engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, and powertrain components.
- Conduct oil changes, tire services, wheel alignments, and vehicle maintenance to ensure safety and reliability.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical tools efficiently for repairs and installations.
- Work on advanced systems such as ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), air brakes, and automotive electrical systems.
- Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex mechanical problems effectively.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working in the automotive repair industry with dealership or independent shop backgrounds preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive suspension systems, transmissions, diesel engines, and brake repair.
- Familiarity with automotive diagnostics tools and schematics for accurate troubleshooting.
- Experience working with GM vehicles or heavy equipment mechanics is a plus.
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical repair tools safely and efficiently.
- Knowledge of automotive electrical systems and auto estimating procedures is advantageous.
- Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a commitment to quality workmanship and safety standards.
