About the Role
Core Arts Pilates is a classical Pilates and GYROTONIC® studio in Anaheim Hills. We work with a wide range of clients, with particular depth in the dance community, from pre-professional youth dancers through working professionals. We’re looking for a certified classical Pilates instructor who takes real ownership of both the teaching and the day-to-day standards that keep a small studio running well.
This is a hands-on role. You’ll teach private and semi-private sessions, help maintain the studio’s standards, and be part of a small team where your judgment and consistency matter.
What You’ll Do:
Instruction
- Teach private and semi-private classical Pilates sessions tailored to each client’s goals and needs
- Create a safe, supportive environment for clients at every fitness level
- Maintain the technical and instructional standards consistent with classical Pilates training
Studio Standards
- Collaborate with fellow instructors on class consistency and continued development of our offerings
- Keep equipment and studio spaces clean, organized, and presentation-ready
- Follow the studio’s dress code and general professionalism standards
Client Relationships
- Be an approachable, communicative presence for clients and help build a genuine sense of community
- Respond to client questions and concerns professionally and promptly
Client Records
- Maintain accurate client records, assessments, and session notes to support individualized programming and continuity of care. This is a core part of the role, not an occasional task.
Marketing Participation
- Participate in social media content creation when asked, including filming exercises with client consent (or parent/guardian consent for minor clients)
- Contribute ideas for studio marketing and community outreach
Administrative
- Handle basic data entry and follow the studio’s technology use policies
- Familiarize yourself with and follow the studio’s Policies and Procedures Manual
- Participate in periodic quality assurance check-ins and team meetings
What You Bring
- Active, current certification in classical Pilates, with annual continuing education
- Minimum 2+ years of teaching experience; boutique or high-end studio experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect authentically with clients
- A genuine commitment to ongoing learning in the practice
- GYROTONIC® certification is a plus
- Comfort working with a dancer-heavy clientele is a plus; dance background welcome but not required
We also offer the opportunity to train in our proprietary BodyStrategies™ methodology for dancers as part of your ongoing development with us.
Compensation: Commensurate with experience.
