Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our casual dining establishment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional guest experiences. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive top-notch service, from taking orders to delivering food and beverages with precision and care.
Duties
$13-14 Hourly wage plus tips.
All servers will also serve party guest during their event. All groups and parties are assest 18% gratuity.
- Greet guests warmly and provide them with menus, ensuring they feel welcomed.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently using OpenTable or similar systems.
- Provide detailed descriptions of menu items, including daily specials, to enhance the dining experience.
- Upsell food and beverage items to maximize guest satisfaction and restaurant revenue.
- Ensure timely delivery of food and drinks while maintaining high standards of presentation.
- Handle guest inquiries and concerns promptly, demonstrating excellent guest relations skills.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication regarding orders and special requests.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and condiments.
- Adhere to all food handling and safety regulations during service.
Experience
- Previous experience in casual restaurant settings is preferred.
- Familiarity with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of culinary terms, food preparation techniques, and menu offerings.
- Excellent math skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Proven ability to build rapport with guests and provide outstanding hospitality.
- Experience in food handling practices is essential for maintaining health standards in the restaurant environment.
