Duties
- Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations
- Handle food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning ingredients efficiently
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively, including knives, stoves, ovens, and mixers
- Support catering events or special functions by preparing large quantities of food with attention to detail
- Serve dishes promptly and professionally to ensure excellent customer satisfaction
Requirements
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant kitchen roles; dietary department or dietary aide experience is a plus
- Strong knife skills and knowledge of proper food handling procedures
- Familiarity with menu planning, meal preparation, and food safety standards
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills to coordinate with kitchen staff and front-of-house personnel
- Knowledge of the food industry trends, culinary techniques, and catering practices is preferred
- Prior experience in food service or culinary roles demonstrating reliability and a passion for quality cuisine
- Must have minimum 3 years experience
- Must be eligible to work in U.S.
Pay: $12.00 - $16.00 per hour
