POSITION SUMMARY
The Camp Counselor is the core position for our services to our pups. The Camp Counselor is responsible for delivering good times and a safe environment for the dogs in the play yards. Counselors will be trained in reading dog behavior and will monitor all dogs in their yard to maintain a fun and safe environment. Counselors will also run dogs from yards to cabins and front desk. Camp Counselors will also prep cabins for dogs checking in, prepare and drop meals, and keep all areas of camp exceptionally clean, which includes sweeping, mopping, wiping, and taking trash out.
IDEAL CANDIDATE
First and foremost, every counselor must love dogs!
Experience working with dogs in group play environments and/or kennel or veterinarian facilities are preferred but not required. The ideal candidate will be confident, honest and sincere, loving and kind to animals, hard-working, multi-tasker, a team-player, and a strong communicator.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Running and monitoring play yards.
· Interacting with all dogs to be sure they are involved in play group.
· Clean up after dogs in all areas.
· Redirecting dogs as needed.
· Conducting ‘Operation Happy Dog’ to check dog’s general health.
· Running dogs to and from yards and cabins.
· Maintaining clean and sanitary yards, halls, cabins, and other shared areas.
· Setting up dog cabins and prep bins and meals as needed.

- Our tips are dispersed to all staff on a per hour basis. Most staff get on average $1-$2 more per hour, with our tips + hourly
-Employee dogs are allowed at Camp with you during your shift, providing they pass our interview process and meet our basic requirements

Pay: $12.00 - $16.00 per hour
