Job Description
We’re looking for full + part-time associates to join our local store team. While Retail experience is a plus, we’re really looking for folks who can help create a friendly, welcoming environment and get some stuff done along the way.
Sales associates are the backbone of our Retail Fleet- and the frontline for our customers. We are looking for folks who are excited to learn + share the ML story, and get people stoked about what we’re doing.
Scope
Your Job duties will focus on the below:
- We want you to have fun connecting with people, and for people to have fun shopping in our stores. Keeping a positive attitude on busy days, and having a solutions-minded approach with customers is key.
- : We’ll teach you the ins and outs of what keeps the lights on. Main things include: computer skills, keeping the store looking tip top, and handling tasks from leadership.
- : ”Teamwork makes the dream work.” Cliche but so true. It’s nice to know your team has your back, and you should have theirs, too. There is no I in ‘team’, but there is one in ‘fired’...
Qualifications
- Availability to work weekends + some holidays
- Positive attitude and excitement to dive in
- Tech-savvy: you should at least know what an iPad is and how to use it

1. We keep it direct when it comes to recruitment: our hiring communications will always come from a @marinelayer.com account
2. Double check the email address: most hiring messages come from either [email protected] and [email protected]
3. If someone’s asking you to buy supplies for your first day, it’s not us. (We’d hook you up with that that)
4. We will never ask for personal information before onboarding. Keep that to yourself.
Just follow these four steps, watch out for sketchy links, and you too can ruin a scammer’s day.
