Under the direction of the Supervisor I, the Analyst II, is responsible to perform complex analytical and technical assignments using a high degree of independent judgment in resolving difficult problems, making decisions in performing a wide variety of duties, and prioritizing workload. Perform varied analytical work, applying laws and rules of personnel management to a variety of human resources assignments in order to meet deadlines. The Analyst II will be responsible for tracking, monitoring, and maintaining all employee work authorization documents to ensure compliance with federal and state requirements. The Analyst II coordinates with employees, program units, and legal partners to support continued work eligibility and to identify cases that may require non-punitive separation. The Analyst II will utilize ServiceNow, Microsoft Word, SharePoint and Excel. The Analyst II will become familiar and perform duties as an expert in accordance with various control agencies, including the State Controller's Office (SCO), and U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). Coordinating with HR or legal teams for work-authorized status renewals. Audit HR records and provide corrective action plans.
This position may be downgraded to Analyst I for recruitment purposes. If downgraded, duties will be adjusted accordingly.
