Level 1 Behavioral Therapist / Mental Health Practitioner
Hourly Pay: $26.00 – $30.00 (Based on qualifications and experience)Job Type: Full-time (40 hours/week) or Part-time (20–30 hours/week)
Three Locations: Rochester, Bloomington, St. Cloud
Job Overview
Breakthrough Therapy Center is seeking passionate and qualified Mental Health Practitioners to provide one-on-one support to young clients diagnosed with Autism and related developmental disorders. Responsibilities
- Provide direct behavioral and mental health services to clients in center-based, home-based, and community-based settings.
- Follow treatment methods designed by Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW), Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA), and lead therapists.
- Take clear and detailed session notes after every client interaction.
- Create and implement engaging activities that support each client’s treatment goals.
- Supervise and guide Level 2 Behavioral Therapists to ensure accurate data collection and treatment execution.
Qualifications (One of the Following Required):
- Completion of or current enrollment in a Master’s program in a mental health-related field. OR
- Bachelor’s degree in a mental health-related field with at least 6,000+ hours of supervised experience delivering mental health services
Preferred Qualifications
- Doctoral or master’s degree in behavioral health.
- Training or experience in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
- Experience working with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds
- in Oromo, Somali, Spanish, Hmong, or Arabic.
