Golden Years Companion Care Inc. is seeking caring, dependable, and compassionate individuals to provide quality in-home care to seniors and adults who wish to remain safe and independent in their own homes.
We are actively hiring immediately for caregivers throughout Waukegan, North Chicago, Zion, Gurnee, Fox Lake, and surrounding Lake County communities.
CNA and LPN applicants are encouraged to apply!
Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation (must drive)
- Must reside in or near Waukegan, North Chicago, Zion, Gurnee, Fox Lake, or surrounding areas
- CNA and LPN licenses are welcome but not required
- Previous caregiving experience is preferred but not required
- Compassionate, dependable, and professional
- Ability to pass all required background screenings
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Assist with personal care, bathing, dressing, and grooming as needed
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding when appropriate
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry
- Assist with mobility and transfers
- Provide medication reminders
- Escort clients to appointments and errands when needed
- Follow each client's individualized care plan
- Maintain a safe, respectful, and comfortable home environment
