American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Outpatient Procedures unit position requiring EPIC experience and a California RN license.

Work in the Outpatient Procedures unit of a hospital setting
-
Position may be filled as a Periop, PACU, or Endo RN
-
Day shift schedule with 5x8 shifts, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
-
12-week contract assignment
-
Active CA RN license required
-
CPR or BLS certification from an approved vendor required
-
EPIC EMR experience required
-
BSN preferred
-
Acute care facility experience preferred
-
No prior license actions or disciplinary history allowed

Deliver coordinated nursing care to an assigned patient or group of patients following established standards of care and the nursing process

Supervise and direct various levels of nursing staff and coordinate care with other disciplines
-
Collect and analyze patient assessment data to determine diagnosis and care needs
-
Develop and implement individualized care plans and evaluate patient outcomes
-
Collaborate with patients, families, and the healthcare team to provide safe, healing, and compassionate care
-
Provide patient and family education and participate in discharge planning for continuity of care
-
Delegate and coordinate duties among healthcare team members as appropriate
